Manchester City Football School’s Language, Development and Performance programmes take place in the heart of the Etihad Campus at the City Football Academy - a state-of-the-art training facility. Shared by Manchester City’s First Team, Women’s team, and Academy teams alike, this 80-acre facility has been designed to help young players achieve their goals in a truly remarkable location.

The City Football Academy boasts an impressive 16 indoor and outdoor pitches. As a player on our programme, you’ll have full access to these inspiring grounds. The full-sized indoor field located in the middle of the Academy’s training facility, is a truly remarkable setting in which to train and play.

Located adjacent to the Academy is Connell College, a modern educational facility used by some of Manchester City’s Academy players. It is here that you can expect to catch up with your fellow players at break time and enjoy interactive workshops and off-pitch sessions. You’ll also be served a nutritional lunch here every day, to help keep your energy levels up.

You will get the opportunity to experience the facilities at the MIHP, an elite high-performance facility designed to develop athletes from all sports and frequently used by Manchester City. Most players on our programme tend to enjoy a relaxing hydrotherapy session, which helps loosen tense, tight, and sore muscles after an intense day of training.

What better way to see out the week than with a behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic Etihad Stadium? We challenge you not to feel inspired as you walk through the player’s tunnel and soak up the spectacular surroundings. Afterwards, you’ll get to visit one of the stadium suites for a closing ceremony.
