Our football programmes are delivered by an exceptionally friendly, highly qualified, and caring team of coaches. As well as being UEFA qualified, thorough background checks are conducted on all coaches (this is also the case for on-site and residential staff).

All coaches are internally trained in the Club’s philosophy and methodology, are DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service), are Emergency Aid qualified, and hold the FA Safeguarding Children award (trained to promote best practice in protecting young people).

Welfare Manager, Centre Manager & Activities Manager

To ensure that players remain happy, entertained, and safe on-site and at our residence, we provide a dedicated Welfare Manager, Centre Manager, and Activities Manager. The Welfare Manager, in particular, plays a key role in making sure students feel happy and comfortable during their stay. So, if your child has a problem, is worried about something, or has a personal issue they want to discuss, our Welfare Manager is on hand to support him/her.

How secure are your training and residential facilities?

The Etihad Campus is a highly secure environment with perimeter fencing and CCTV. Our residential accommodation also has its own security measures in place.

What if my child gets homesick?

Recognising signs of homesickness and offering support is part of our staff’s comprehensive training. We also have a dedicated Welfare Manager who is on hand to talk to and reassure your child.

What if my child is unwell or gets injured?

We have first aiders on-site at all times. If your child sustains an injury or illness that requires further medical attention, we will inform you and accompany them to a local NHS medical centre.

How can I contact my child in an emergency?

We will send a welcome email packet that contains contact details for our football camp and residence, a few weeks prior to your child starting their programme. Alternatively, you can contact your child via their personal mobile phone in the evening.
